I received my real estate license with The Toronto Real Estate Board in 1993 and since then have had a wonderful career helping people realize their real estate dreams. Toronto is a magnificent, world class city and it is with pride and enthusiasm that I am able to be part of its real estate scene. My business is focused in the Greater Toronto Area with much of it coming from referrals from past clients, long-time friends and colleagues from across Canada.
There is enormous satisfaction in being able to use my acquired skills in negotiating the purchase of a home for a Buyer, knowing, after due diligence, that the house they are offering on is the right home for them. Alternatively, being able to squeeze out more money for the Seller so that they can move on with more comfort, is extremely rewarding.
I have an extensive network of excellent professionals in many different fields to help with the process from start to finish and beyond and have the knowledge and experience to know which person or company should be called upon. I make sure the client is always kept informed about the process every step of the way.
I strongly believe in maintaining and developing professional skills so that I can be a more effective agent and have achieved the following designations:
M-ASA – Master Accredited Senior’s Agent ABR – Accredited Buyer’s Representative
SRES – Senior Real Estate Specialist CNE – Certified Negotiation Expert
CPCA – Certified Professional Consultant on Aging
One of my passions is helping older adults, boomers and their families’ transition when it is time to make a lifestyle change. As we age, our housing and care needs change. We may need help to stay in our existing home or decide that a move to a different type of home would be more supportive allowing us to age in comfort and security. My concern to be there ‘every step of the way’ for the client is reflected in the range of support that is provided and the network of professionals that has been developed. The training and accreditations that have been pursued reflect my commitment.
Originally, Nova Scotia was my home and with that comes a very strong set of values and ethics. Trust is always a huge factor. Loyalty, professionalism and caring is paramount. One thing people will say about me is “Don’t ask Lynn her opinion or what she thinks unless you really want to know” and “There is no grey area with Lynn…things are either black or white.”
I am proud to contribute to the community in which I live. For the past 2 decades, I have organized the annual Golden Triangle Garage Sale which includes a community drive for The Salvation Army. I am a major sponsor of the William Burgess Elementary School carnival and contribute to and participate in a range of community activities.
