After working for a financial institution, first in Montreal and later in Toronto and then working as a legal assistant at a major Bay Street law firm, I decided to change my career path and entered the world of real estate. I have been a REALTOR® since 1997, first as an assistant to a Broker/Owner of a small real estate company and then I struck out on my own, eventually ending up at Royal LePage Realty Plus. I started out as a Sales Representative and became a Broker in 2004. Also in 2004, I obtained my Accredited Buyer Representative Designation (ABR®). In August 2012, I obtained my Accredited Senior Agent Designation and as of August 2013, I am now a Master ASA. In July 2013, I obtained my Consumer – Certified Real Estate Consultant Designation (C-CREC®). In January 2013 I joined the Mississauga Board of Trade (MBOT) and became a member and an Ambassador.
I believe strongly in giving back to the profession and in 1999, I joined the Ethics Committee at the Mississauga Real Estate Board. I have worked on and been chair of various committees at the Mississauga Real Estate Board, the Toronto Real Estate Board and the Ontario Real Estate Association. I have served as a Director on the Mississauga Real Estate Board and in 2009, became its President. The position afforded me the opportunity to meet with members of other Real Estate Boards and Associations across Canada as well as the Canadian Real Estate Association and the Ontario Real Estate Association. I have also been the President of BNI (Business Network International) and President of the PRA (Peel Referral Association). Presently, I am a Member and an Ambassador for the Mississauga Board of Trade (MBOT).
