My name is Jane Mooy and I am a real estate professional with a focus on homes in central Toronto. I have lived in this city my entire life and call the Moore Park area my home for my husband and 3 wonderful daughters. This is a great city and I have an intimate knowledge of its many beautiful, safe and diverse downtown neighborhoods.
In my practice of real estate, I am well known for exceptional customer service, consistent communication, strong attention to detail and ensuring a positive experience for all parties in a transaction. My approach is this: “it is about the people, not the agent” and it has earned me many loyal clients and close friends.
In recent years, I have come to recognize that selling a home can be an extremely complex and emotional issue for many older clients. There are many legal and financial considerations and family members may be involved in important decisions. Assisting these clients requires skills that are beyond the abilities of most real estate agents. As a result I saw a need to pursue special training and achieved my Master Accredited Seniors Agent (M-ASA) designation. Only a tiny fraction of all real estate professionals in Canada have this designation and it ensures that I have the specialized training required to work on a much higher level with senior clients. My service goes well beyond buying or selling a home and includes knowledge of estate, wills, retirement and tax law issues; retirement and nursing homes services and the need to work closely with family members and advisors. I can also offer my clients access to a trusted network of legal, accounting, and other specialized professionals.
While I have been recognized within my profession with some of the highest awards for sales, this has never been an important goal for me. What is important is the pride I take in knowing that I’ve helped people make the best decisions about buying and selling their home.
