Caring Conversations Conundrum . . .
Sometimes, especially when we have elderly parents, we need to have conversations that are not always easy, but we have to have them because we care. That’s what we mean by The Caring Conversation Conundrum – you know you have to have these conversations, but you don’t know how. Perhaps you think that dad should hang up the car keys, or maybe the family is thinking that it’s time for mom to move into a retirement residence or nursing home. The fact that
you’ve made that decision is great, but it is just the beginning. The next, most difficult part is having the conversation in

One of the first things that comes to mind is photos. And I’m referring to everyday snapshots, the kind that

interested in photos of people they don’t know?” they ask. And the answer is “ Indeed they are, it’s called
vernacular photography; photos taken by unknown or anonymous photographers for themselves, family
